Maybe you can start utilizing Device Capabilities - Device Capabilities | Homey
It also offers āgroupingā capabilities and much much much more.
I recently had an issue with the group app, where it was not able to control a light, every time I added it to the group ā¦ it removed itself immediately.
It ended up being an issue with the light and I had to remove and re-add it.
@Sharkys Device Capabilities is a great app and very useful, (I use it myself even). HOWEVER Athom are working on native grouping, I wouldnāt be surprised if it is released with their dashboard (which is close to testing this month).
If you can wait ā¦ wait to see if their native solution fixes your issues - iāve been waiting for them to do groups for a very long time (obviously I like the feature). And I am excited to see what they come up with, hopefully the tens of thousands of people who use the group app will be able to have one less app soon.
(Disclaimer, I suspect merged, union and fused groups might be still required - but that is the minority of users).

Did not know theyāre where working on native grouping, but at the same time I wondered why it not already exist as it does in other automation systems.
I have had issues with groups. My solution was to create a new group, adjust flows to new group, delete old group and rename new group to old group name.
Had todo with the version of a group device, issues with older group device version ( I think/suspected).
