[APP][Pro] Eufy Security

Then you probably have a really good answer on how I should do to get a live picture in Homey? Thanks for any help

Yes I have

There’s no way to get a live picture.
Only way is due to a event like person detection, motion detection etc
See FAQ Q3

If you want to have a live stream there’s a stream flowcard which allows you to stream to a google hub for example.

New app update (test: 2.27.7):

Changelog:
1. FIX: wrong device channel when setting snooze mode
2. FIX: full effect mode notifications
3. NEW: ADD PTZ for indoor pan_tilt camera
4. NEW: ADD PTZ to Floodlight camera
5. FIX: unresponsive API url.
6. FIX: error on PAN_TURN flowcard
7. FIX: Floodlight PTZ

@kilofox @Yannick_Eeckelaert New try for the Floodlight PTZ :crossed_fingers:

pity with live stream but I guess you are already working on a lot of solutions :grinning: Do not think it updates as I want in Homey and now I get no notices when I put flow. may continue to test me out. If you want help with running some tests, just shout. thanks for any help

Hoi @martijnpoppen ,

Groet,
Mark

Hey @ZwarteTeen
Thanks for your message
Please keep this conversation in english.

I think there should be a option for the entry sensor.
But I do not own a sensor myself.
You can also do this:

Create another extra account. Share all the camera’s except the entry sensor. Login with that extra account on your official Eufy app.
Then you wont get notified. But it’s not the nicest solution

No problem! I will keep it in English.
I will try your solution and see if it works

Thanks for the fast reply.

Het Martijn,

Just dit the test en the cam turns 360 end al of the other position. I ThinQ it works but maybe I am wrong. If I used the flow like a showed you he would not to every movement in succession. If I dit the one ath the time it worked.

@Yannick_Eeckelaert
That sounds right. So seems like the PTZ does work

I’ll put it live soon

Thanks for testing !

Hi @martijnpoppen ,

It works as mentioned. The extra user needs to have guest rights because else it is not possible to hide the entry sensor. The downside of this is that I don’t have all options available for example ā€˜do not disturb’ on the doorbell and settings. For now i can live with it, but hopefully in the future this is more easy.

Thanks for your quick help.

Mark

Hey @ZwarteTeen
Oh didn’t expect that.
But if it works

I am working on a different solution. That requires 2FA and it will get rid off the notifications.
This Will also mean you don’t need extra accounts anymore.

But Will take some time before it’s implemented

Hi. I have three eufycams (P24, if I’m not mistaken) and I active/deactive these on last person leaving/first person arriving. However, there seems to be a problem keeping them in sync. Most of the time at least one of them stays in the previous mode, so I tried setting up a delay where first cam changes status immediately, the second after 5 seconds and the third after 10. Even then, one of them seems to always be stuck.

Anyone know how to deal with this?

This is the flow: Delt Flow | Homey

@Tiwas
Strange. I do see 01 and 05 delay in your flow. Is that the same your Homey? If yes I would suggest change that to 1 and 5. Maybe even change it to a higher number…

You can send me a report if you want, I can check if there’s a conflict somewhere.

In theory it should be possible to setup multiple connection. One issue is that these camera’s are all on a own IP so Homey has to setup individual UDP connection to every camera. Sometimes that is a bit buggy when that happen simultaneously

Edit: I have to say that sometimes my indoor cam is behaving too and Just ignores Homey as a valid connection.

Temp fix would be: restart the cam which is not responding. The indoor cam cannot handle multiple connection it seems

I’ve tried just ā€œ1ā€ instead of ā€œ01ā€, but it didn’t seem to have an effect. Would it be possible to set it to do several retries? Like 3?

Yes will add it to the library.
but as said in my previous post. Sometimes the indoorcam is just not allowing the connection. Can be different things but a restart always fixes it.
No matter how many times you try to connect

Cool! Looking forward to trying. App restart hasn’t been necessary here yet, as manually changing mode in homey (or running the flow again) seems to fix it. At least for me. At least until now

@Tiwas
It’s on the todo list

Next week I’m limited available for Homey development. so probably will pick this up after that.

No worries  Have a great week :+1:

Hi
Any update on A5, regarding support for Homey Bridge/Cloud, and if this is on your roadmap ?

Hey @Kent_Christensen
Athom is talking with Eufy about this topi.
When Athom give me a GO i can start on it.

A the current moment it’s still a 50/50 chance that the Bridge/Cloud implemention will be there…
