I just looked, NO.
On my ald Homey Pro 2019, after some time I hade it.

Know I see that in the Live App i do not have the Livestream.

It was working with the Test version

Hi @martijnpoppen, I haven’t tried the Docker setup yet. I did try uninstalling the app and re-adding all cameras, but the AND cards (like ‘AND motion alarm is ON’) are missing. So I have re-created my flows differently… :slight_smile:

I have 2 accounts one for homey one for the eufy app
notifications are open both in Android and Eufy App. Eufy app set to Away and notifications is checked for the doorbell.

Not sure what to do next…

Just to make it clear what we’re talking about. Feels like we’re approaching multiple issues now

Sorry I was writing on the phone till now, therefore not very explicit.
They are multiple issues, like you observed, but I start with the beginning.

Till this morning I used a HP19

  • Snapshots and Event - working delayed (possible because my system on the limit and slow)
  • on HP19 no live stream

I have decided to test the SHS (heaving a spare mini PC)

  • on SHS - Test Version - live stream perfect from RTPC Cameras, no live stream from the other one.
  • no snapshot
  • no event

I think things are working, 1st problem is when opening the camera the default view is Snap Shot, if i manually change it to Event then i get a picture. 2nd problem - only the Doorbell cam event was turned off. There is a seperate place to turn this off. 3rd problem was in flows - before i use (tag: Person) to send the foto to my phone - this is changed to DoorBell Event.

Is there a way to have the camera to default to Event when opening the camera instead of Snapshot?

Hi Martijn,

For the past few days the status change from Homey is not being received by some of the Eufy devices and it varies which device is affected. I did a restart, which helped temporarily, but after a few days the issue returned.

hoping you can help - I have a Eufy C220 Camera.

I have setup the app as per your instructions (created a secondary user and logged in with this) however can’t seem to get anything to work, even though it has found the camera.

for example the profiles (Home / Away / Geo etc) do not work, I receive the following error:

Property Name is not Valid.

I have also had a few notifications this morning come through from the EUFY app but not through to Homey.

any ideas?

HP19:

  • Delay: Yes delay is known and unfortunately that’s how this eufy implemenation works. It’s reverserd engineered so it’s not a native implementation with standardized API’s
  • HP19 livestream. You have to enable RTSP for the camera, also the camera needs to support that.

SHS:

  • Livestream: nice that it works for RTSP. However as mentioned above if the camera doesn’t support RTSP there’s no livestream, limitation from Eufy
  • Snapshots: I think I know why. This app includes 2 binaries of ffmpeg. Which is needed to translate a stream to a image. I never thought of SHS, ( i didnt know when i was building this). So ffmpeg is not found. however, can you try to install FFMPEG on your miniPC? The Eufy app should then autmatically find it in your system :slight_smile:

So if i read it correctly problem 2 and 3 are fixed.

for problem 1: you can’t change the order of the images unfortunately, I asked Athom but at this moment it’s not possible. See FAQ Q18 [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen
To update the snapshot you can trigger a flow. See FAQ Q14 [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen

which is strange as its definitely not off in the Eufy app. I have followed the settings as per your instructions.
