I checked the report, but still not clear why the snapshot is failing.

Do other features work? Like motion/person detection. Turning the camera on/off.

Can you check the above 2 so we can see where the issue might be.

@Capetrip The error you’re getting seems not related to this app. Looks more like a timeout in your Homey/network itself

Hi Martijn, I restarted Homey and the Eufy App again and the flow runs through without the timeout error message but Eufy still does not make a Snapshot. In Eufy Home App the snapshot area remains black. See screenshot.
I sent another report. Please could you check again. Code is

In the Homey Web App no image either and I get in addition attached error message saying error while loading the image.

@Capetrip really strange, and this happens for all cameras? Does the event image work?

It happens for all 3 cameras. I see the event image in the Eufy Homey App , it loads there ok but when I select it to be sent with WhatsApp it does not get sent either.

You wrote somewhere that the max snapshots per day is 30. not sure if I reached the limit already ? Can you check that ?

WhatsApp with event image works after restart of WhatsApp app but the snapshot still does not load

I can’t check that unfortunately. But actually you receive the image back from the service. As i saw in the logs.

Which camera’s are we talking about and how are they connected?

Hi Martijn,

there are 3 Eufy Cameras. „Haustür“ and „Parkplatz“ are Eufy 2c Pro cameras connected to Home Base 2 which is connected to home wlan.
„Wohnzimmer“ is an Eufy Indoor 2k Camera directly connected to home wlan.

Currently I have only a flow for „Haustür“ camera to send a snapshot. I did test with the other cameras as well and same problem they don’t show an snapshot image.

Please note that yesterday evening / night it was working fine for 1-2 hours. And since I did not change anything on the Eufy system itself.

Yes, the motion/person detections works. I also tried turning the camera off/on, which also works (confirmed by checking in Eufy app).

I did notice today that my flows that are based on the trigger “Arming mode changed” no longer triggers since a few days back.

The changes in arming mode in Homey works, and I can confirm in the Eufy app that it changes status, but it doesn’t seem that the trigger recognizes the change anymore.

The flow is quite simple, and it works when I test it manually.

Before creating the report, I did the following:

  • Turned the camera named Uppfarten off (Confirmed in Eufy app that it worked)
  • Turned the camera named Uppfarten on (Confirmed in Eufy app that it worked)
  • Changed the arming state on Homebase (Confirmed in Eufy app that it worked)
  • Checked my variable to see if the flow triggered (which it didn’t)

So to conclude, everything I’ve tested so far is working, except for snapshots and the flow trigger for arming mode changes.

I don’t know if this is interesting in the troubleshooting, but Events are being sent to Homey as intended. I currently have the events as a widget on my homescreen, and they update the image almost instantly.

@Hass The Arming change you can set by changing the notification settings of your homebase in the eufy app. See FAQ Q1 - A4: [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen

Ahh, you’re right. I went back to using notifications through the Eufy app (hopefully temporarily), and modified some of the notification settings in the app…

Enabling notifications for arming worked. Thank you!

Hi, I just noticed that my snapshot hasn’t been working for a few days. I’m only getting the basic picture of eufy that is shown in the homey app and website. Also, the copy of the snapshot on my nas is just the basic image of eufy. Is this a known issue? I have restarted Homey, the app, and the camera (S220 SoloCam) without any changes.
