@hass I checked the report but it looks like the stream canât be opened. Can you try a restart of your eufy app in homey
The problem is that the camera doesnât always gives a persons message if i do that. The light on the camera goes on but I donât always get a persons message. Iâm sure itâs the camera not always seeing a person. I want the light at the door go on when somebody is coming up to the house. Itâs working now but not always. I can live with it for now.

Hi martin. Thanks for a great app! Just got me the camera C220, wich is not compatible with homebase 2. I could get the homebase 3 but thatâs for later. forgot to check this stuff before buyâŚ
Anyway, since the c220 is its own device in eufy i must use the eufy app to set home/away to activate the correct cameras. Would be awesome to integrate this with homey to automatically setting home/away by homey. This works for homebase (my other cameras) but not the c220.
With that said, it would be cool if the camera was added as device, or if itâs possible to have a card where i can toggle the home/away mode for the whole âeufy appâ with homey.

Oh thatâs strange. I have an external admin account, all devices shared. When logged in as that account in the eufy app i can see all cameras.
Trying to add my C220 (as C210) it asks for credentials and fails, not finding any units. After that fail, my other cameras and homebase indicates red in homey and then i just hit ârepairâ on one of them (using same acxount) and they are back in business. Any ideas?

When the camera/homebase has a red icon what does that say? (When you go to the device)
A red icon always had a info message

Thanks for the Eufy App! I downloaded it today and have got integration of Eufy and Homey easily however have some questions on items I donât get working after hours of tests:
- I would like to start recording of an Eufy Cam 2c based on an Input Alarm in Homey but I donât see a flow card to start recording. Is that not possible. I read many pages above and understood that live streaming is not supported but recording on the Eufy system itself ?
- I canât get the Snapshot function working either. I read above points about snapshots and I am not sure if the snapshots are stored on the Eufy system or if I HAVE to send them via WhatsApp as in your example above. Also I do not use Eufy´s Cloud storage but the storage locally at the device. Would that snapshot function also work in that case?

- Unfortunately thereâs no option to start a recording on a camera. This would have been a really nice feature. I tried already so many things to make it work but unfortunately no luck.
- Yes the snapshot function would work aswell. As mentioned above a H264 Readablestream will be is parsed on a external server Which runs FFMPEG. After that the image comes back and you can see it in the Homey Eufy device. So it will be stored on Homey and updated everytime you call the snapshot card. Itâs really meant for sending it somewhere else.

Pity about point 1. above but I know understand how the snapshot work. I downloaded your WhatsApp App and it works. Only thing is that if I sent a WhatsApp message to myself WhatsApp will not notify me about a new message ( no sound on my iPhone nor a banner on the Home Screen) and I have to look actively into it to see the message sent by Homey. Is that normal or is there a way to activate notifications ?

But no you donât receive notifications from a message you send yourself (same as on your phone)

Works fine now for me. I send an additional message via Homey to the iPhone to know there is a WhatsApp message with an screenshot.

Sorry to bother you again. After a few successful tests now the Eufy snapshots and the WhatsApp messages donât work anymore. I am getting for both the error message that App failed to respond in 90000ms. See attached screenshots. An screenshot for the camera has not been made and itâs not seen in the Eufy Homey App. See other screen shot.
Any idea what the problem could be?
