When I try to add a device, it asks for my e-mail address. When i enter it, it directly shows that the e-mail is invalid.

Which device are you trying to add? And which app did you use on your phone to set up the device?

Maybe the email is case sensitive? Did you check if everything is lower-case?

I tried on the Homey App on iPhone and the my.homey.app site. Everything lowercase, checked my e-mail twice for correctness.

But which mobile app does the Duux device use? The “Duux“ or the “Duux Gen1“ app?

And what type of device is it? Model number or name?

It’s the Duux gen 1 mobile app on iOS, the 360 v2 heater.

My app only works with the new “Duux“ app. Your device is a Tuya-based device, I recommend using the Tuya app.

You may need to reset your device to factory defaults and connect it to the “Smart Life“ app on your phone.

Thanks for your effort. I still don’t understand why i can’t use the 360 v2 with the new Duux app.

Because the new Duux app uses another protocol (it isn’t backwards compatible with the Tuya protocol from the Duux Gen1 app)

You can also use this Homey app for the Duux Gen1 devices:

My bad. After looking at the serial for my Duux 360 V2 it still seems to be an older model, serial starting with 21 instead of 22. Apologies for wasting your time. And thanks for the swift replies! Regards, Marco.

Someone sent me a device report via the app settings page about the Duux Neo. Unfortunately, you didn’t enter your forum username, so I’ll ask it here. Please provide me with screenshots of the “Controls“ tab and the “More“ tab in the Duux mobile app. Also, share the device reports with the mode set to “Auto“, “Low“, “Medium“ and “High“. Wait 10 seconds before retrieving the device info for each report.

I just decompiled the Duux mobile app’s React Native bundle and found all data that I need for all devices. Hopefully I’ll soon be able to add all devices to this Homey app.

After decompiling the mobile app, I was able to discover the commands for all devices. I’ve added most of them (Bright is coming soon)

Version 2.0.0

Adds support for the following devices:

  • Beam
  • Beam Mini
  • Neo
  • North 9k
  • North 12k
  • North 14k
  • North 18k

It also adds error messages for faults on the Bora. The update also adds vertical oscillation to the Whisper Flex and fixes the Flow cards that weren’t working

You can download the update here (test version):

If you experience any issues, please let me know.

According to the Duux website, the Beam and the North use their Duux app Gen 1.
Does that mean that your app now supports (some) Gen 1 models too, @smarthomesven?

The devices were added based on information found while decompiling the Duux app (generation 2), so maybe the devices support both apps?

I can’t know for sure, since I don’t own any of these devices (I only have a Bora)

I just checked and while many images show the Duux Gen1 app, there are hardware revisions that use the new Duux app. I was able to find a picture from the Beam Mini 2 which shows the new Duux app, and on Marktplaats I was able to find a screenshot of the new Duux app for the North
