Thaks for you patience!! I’ll try
hi, thanks for your effort. are your Homey’s on a different subnet? My homey’s are, and I will probably have to check in my tp-link ER605 v2.0 to get this going. thanks, Luc
@Onyx Sorry, my Homey’s are both on the same subnet.
sorry for the late reply on the homey add-on not showing the analog value to the homey app. just send a diagnostic report with id 2d9e0478-b89a-4fc0-b15d-df5f3be6d724
I also see the analog value changing a little bit so there should be continuous updates when the value changes.
if you need more info or logs, please let me know
@Phuturist I have unistalled shelly and removed all the devices and restarted homey and made sure all my shelly devices are updated to the latest firmware and still i am not abel to add them back to homey.
i get this message when i try to add them: “An error occured when trying to add the device. This usually happens when the device is not on the latest firmware, a battery powered device is not kept awake during pairing or there are networking issues. See the pairing instructions in the support topic on the community forum.”
My devices are shelly dimmer 2 wifi. Can you please tell me what i need to do? It have been working perfectly for more than 2 years and stoped since a couple of weeks ago.
Hi,
The action events from Shelly Plus i4 suddenly stopped working after the v3.22.0 update. The devices still report wifi signal to Homey.
I tried to remove and-re add one of the devices to see if it solved the issue. I was able to add it again, but the device is still not reporting any action events.
I have a Ubiqiti network with the Shellys on a separate IoT VLAN, while Homey is on my main VLAN. All traffic is currently allowed between the two VLANs, and multicast and IGMP snooping is enabled. I have not done any network changes lately - ie. all IP addesses are the same as before etc.
Any advice?
Sounds like a bug, I’ll look into it. Could you create an issue on Github so I wont forget.
Reboot Homey, try to pair again and send a diagnostic report from the app settings afterwards. Small chance I broke something with the pairing in the latest release, I did make changes there. Bigger chance it’s a networking issue though and I cant help you if you already followed all the steps from the troubleshooting guide. If it stopped working weeks ago it seems something else is wrong.
Although I tested this myself I did make changes in this release that could result in a bug somewhere. Are the channels configured as buttons or as switches? And I’ll test again tonight or later this week to see if I missed something. If I really broke this I’m sure more people will back you up soon.
Thanks for your quick reply @Phuturist!
All channels are configured as buttons (the input capabilities has disappeared and only the wifi signal status remains as per the release notes).
Other info that may be relevant: When pressing the buttons connected to my i4’s, I still see the events (single push / double push / long push) correctly in the Shelly iOS app, when my phone is connected to the same VLAN as Homey.
Thanks for the quick reply!
No issue with my network and i have not done any changes to the network eithere.
What do you mean by network issue? Homey and all devices are on the same network and both homey and my shelly devices have static ip adress.

I have 34 pieces i4 running action events, since yesterday aim repairing them from 2019 to 2023 Homey. Everything died 30 minutes ago and I can’t get any action events to work. The house is completely black now. Just found out if you use “With any action” it is blinking twice “if it s controlling a lamp” then stays on. But Single, Long or double push doesn’t work. Update. Even if you put the device in button mode you can only find flow cards for “input 1” all other Chanel’s are gone. Update 3- There is 0 flowcards for the i4 when they are in switch mode
Hello , can anyone help me please finding out what the problem is with not finding my shelly device? I have two shelly em 2.5 and one shelly 3EM. I did use the two shelly s 2.5 for a ling time now but the connection was lost. Also adding a new shelly 3EM to homey was not working. In the shelly app no problem but in th ehomey app i get this message null is not an object (see picture).
I thougth it was bevause of my strange ip adres of the router 10.0.0.1 i change that in a more notmal one 192.1xx.x.x. Then i was able to add all the device s but i had connect the clamps of the shelly em3 in the wrong direction so i was getting negative power messuring. I changed the clamps and look in shelly app now the power was ok in the right direction. But in homey was still negative so i did remove the product and wanna add it again. Now i get the same issue again with errordata: null is not an object.
Can anyone help me please or does anyone has this problem before?
I too have problems with my Shelly I4’s since the update…
Same here, my i4 device doesn’t trigger homey anymore since updating to version 3.22.0 this afternoon.
(using it with the ‘button’ functionality)
I tried to reboot the Shelly device and added it to homey again, but this made no difference.
There was nothing changed in my LAN, and i followed your instructions at the top of this page.
Same here - after update I have issues.
Not sure if its Shelly that have done an update themselves - I noticed that I had to download an new Android app as well - not sure if its connected to this at all - assume not.
Similar issues with the i4 after the update. Let me know if logs are needed.
Thanks!
I have the same problems with the I4 after update version 3.22.0.
I4 removed and reinstalled. Update to Beta version in the I4.
Homey restarted, Shelly app restarted.
My wife explained that there was nothing I could do about it.
Shelly i4 action events will be fixed with the next release (currently pending approval in the app store and available in the test channel)
The log tells me other wise. Not much I can do about it. Try rebooting Homey and the Shellies before retrying.
If your devices are not discovered and you need to add them manually there is something wrong with your network. Homey should be able to discover them over mDNS. Adding through IP address is only for advanced users. Seeying you are trying to enter your cloud details in the device authentication login you dont struck me as an advanced user. You really need to fix your networking issue and make sure Homey can reach your Shellies in the same network.
Will be fixed with the next release as well. You might need to re-pair your device if it’s not working directly after the update.
Hi,
I have 1PM and 2PM set in detached mode, so songle push or long push will set my hue lights to a pre set level. Since the update to 3.22.1 this no longer works.
I checked the shelly diagnoatica and i can see when i press the switch a message is being sent, its just the shelly app for homey is no longer receiving the message.
Apologies if this is already reported and due to be fixed.
Sorry just to add, you had already fixed this bug for me back in July, link to thread is below.
