Yesterday I received the Homey Light strips, so immediately tried it. I can confirm that everything went flawless. I installed the Hue bridge, connected five light strips and then imported these strips into Homey Pro and created a first test flow (all within 2 hours). Response time of the lights is indeed very fast. The only thing that I did not figure out (yet), but that is more a Hue question, is how to set the light Color in the Hue app accurately (i.e. the same). With the Hue app in Homey it is very easy to set all the lights to the right/same colour. Very satisfied!

In the Hue phone app, not Homey, it is easy to set your lights as the same colour. Create rooms and zones and then set the colour of the lights in those, save as a scene with a useful name. Homey can see the scenes. For example, I have a “hallway” and a “living room” and both of those have lights physically in those rooms. I also have an “ambient” zone which has some of the lights from those rooms in it. So when my Ambient zone lights come on they are all set to the same colour/brightness etc as set by a Scene

It didn’t fix itself. I just deinstalled en reinstalled. Now they work, let’s see how long it lasts this time…

And as far as I can from my one experience and from the comments of others, controlling Hue lamps via Hue Bridge and homey app for flows, works better than adding them to Homeys Zigbee.

I entered a support ticket about this issue. So far no answer.

Meanwhile I switched to homey pro. With pro the hue integration works perfect. I was able to add my three hue bridges. I am lucky I only have three hue bridges, because you can only add three. Don’t know understand why this limitation. I asked about it but didn’t get an answer to this specific question either.
