Any news on the Netatmo valve issue?

Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo has launched an update, but no result, still getting the same error

Installed version 5.6.4 of the Athom Netatmo app now. Same results with valves using set temperature manually or by flows: Error: Nothing to update (Code 406).

Day 26 with this pesky bug, already created two tickets previously.

update in and now I also get an error when I click on optie gear. homey 2019 never had a problem before. so can the previous version go back?
Dont fix if is not broken.
Why not a test version of the app first?
then I could have gone back to the stable version.

Its lacking

Submitted a support ticket regarding the valves for version 5.6.4. Encourage all who struggle with the Error: Nothing to update (Code 406) on set temperature to do the same.

got a response on my ticket.

Yes we are still actively investigating this matter and are working with Netatmo to find a solution for this issue.
Usually this indicates that something at the other end of the fence needs to be addressed if the help of the brand
is needed to create a fix.

As I said before, I canā€™t give you any guarantees on when this issue will be fixed, but rest assured that it still has our full attention!

For now this is all I can do for you, which is why Iā€™m closing your ticket.

I wish you a great day and a lot of fun with Homey!
Best Regards,

Bas

worst case scenario al my valves ar useless, at least not with the flows. The app of Netatmo sucks is my humble opinion
Maybe we all should go to Netatmos support ?

Thank you for sharing this!

Guess an important question is whether this problem applies in Home Assistant, Smartthings etc. If it does not apply over there I think we are discussing this at the correct place. More than willing to address Netatmo support, but then Athom needs to be more open on what is actually the issue here.

Solved after the upgrade to 5.6.4
Hi,

Done a fresh install, but the Netatmo app is crashing immediately after starting it. So basically Iā€™m unable to run it. I have the latest version installed (5.6.3) which was updated just one day ago.

Anyone else having issues. Any suggestions?
app not crashing but working valvesā€¦ no!!

With the Netatmo Bitcoin app is all working at my side. No problems at al :man_shrugging:t3:

I just tried and my valves still works with SmartThings. However, that does not mean the issue is 100% on Homey side. Could be related to some Netatmo API restrictions / limitations being applied to Homey

I also tried the non-official app but I could not get it working. Iā€™m able to add the valves successfully and they even have the correct readings of the temperature during setup but then I canā€™t control them and got a 406 error message. I also revoked all 3rd party integration from: Netatmo website before adding the Bitcoin / Legrand App to trigger a re-authentication but the issue remains.

Since Homey is still actively working on this, Iā€™m also going to contact Netatmo support.

Response from Homey support :
Thank you for reaching out to our support and for reporting this issue!

Our Development Team is currently investigating why users receive this error notification, which causes Homey to lose the connection with Netatmo devices. Unfortunately, I cannot specify exactly when this issue will be fixed.
For now you can repair the device through the Homey App. To do so, please open the Devices screen in the Homey Mobile App on your phone and select a Netatmo device. Select ā€œTry to Repairā€ to repair the connection between Homey and Netatmo.
However, we know that this is only a temporary fix, as the connection will be lost again after a while. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

Unfortunately, we donā€™t have a steady work-around available which automatically repairs the connection between Homey and Netatmo.
This issue has to be investigated and fixed by our Development Team and weā€™re already looking in to it.

For now this is all I can do for you as support, which is why Iā€™m closing your ticket.

I just tried and it didnā€™t fix the issue for any of my thermostatic valves :frowning:. After clicking repair, re-authentication occurs but then after I close the window and try to increase or decrease temperature, I still get the same Nothing to Update (Code 406) error. For this particular Home, Iā€™m using Homey Cloud.
As mentioned earlier I also reached out to Netatmo this morning and waiting for their answer.

Received the same message from support. Repair does not solve or change anything for me neither at Homey Pro Early 2019. Nothing to Update (Code 406) both with this and the unofficial app.

There is a new version of the Athom Netatmo app (5.6.5 test). Really happy to tell that this seems to have fixed the issue for me. Did not even need to repair the devices. Set temperature works nicely both from flows and manually on the device wheel. Thank you!

Test version doesnā€™t work either. Still getting that error message.
