Thanks for your respond! I will wait for that!
Hi.
Now that IKEA Dirigera have Matter support, you can add the remote and light to the IKEA Dirigera, and at the same time add them to Homey via Matter.
Then the remote will work normaly with dimming up and down. And you also have access to flow in Homey.
Exemple.:
I use it to deactive motion sensor when the light is manualy turned off via the remote, and reactived it again when the light is turn on via the remote. Need this when my child is sleeping in daytime.
Anybody have battery drain issues on the Frytur blinds?
So I have a bunch of windows sensors installed. however some of them just go to sleep and never report anymore:
2 of them 4 weeks ago - I can repair them but that cant be the solution to always have to do that.
only one of those windows is not opened at all or not a lot…
However still I don’t think they should just “go blind” on themselves
any known issues here?
Homey has an issue in general with sensors that stop updating. The usual fix is “reboot every day”, I think.
HI
Anyone know if there are any plans to add the new “INSPELNING” outlet to the app fpr Homey Pro. And if, when?
Just scroll back a few posts…
sorry, did´nt see that when searching the forum
ok, reboot homey itself completely like every day at 3 am, or just restart the apps with such devices?
or both?
thanks for insight
Reboot Homey (which also restarts the apps).
If you enable the Power User experiment (a setting that you can turn on in the mobile app), you can create a flow that will perform the reboot.
ok today I will manually reconnect all those things and put a reboot in at night time is 1 a day enough?
Hopefully.
I guess it’s not going to be enough just opened this window…
is there any other way to periodically “ping” such sensors to keep them working?
I mean I don’t think it is very senseful to have the complete homey restart 3 times a day…
No, these sensors are asleep most of the time and wake up when something happens (like a window opening/closing) and then send a message to Homey.
But this issue is most likely not with the sensors, but with Homey. You can issue a support request which Athom: https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/360015784034-Submitting-a-support-request
Where did you add the sensors to Homey?
Close to Homey, or at the place of use?
In my experience IKEA sensors aren’t susceptible to Aqara-like issues when you pair them near the controller and then move them.
It may be, but I pair all the Zigbee end-devices at the place of use, also from IKEA and Aqara, e.g. the Temp. & Humidity Sensor, and have no issues. And it’s certainly worth a try.
But to be honest, I don’t have the IKEA Windows Sensor in use.
I did pair them at place of use, also those 2 sensors are in a range of 10 meters of the homey…
did also send a requesto to athom btw now
