I am finalizing the update with support for the H2 switches at this moment.
Unfortunately the multi-protocol (Matter over Tread or Zigbee) mean that I do need to test double / add additional instructions for the end-users… so taking more time.
Hi Ted, I asked Geurt Dijker if I get a Homey Cloud and a Homey Bridge (new), would I still experience these problems? The Homey Cloud and my physical Homey 2016 both have the same Aqara software 1.15.1.
Sorry, take it easy, I don’t want to make you impatient…
I don’t know if there’s a question regarding the Aqara E1 Switch Zigbee 3.0 series? But can you add support for it in the Homey App?
I don’t know if this is an option but I have the Aqara Wall Outlet H2 EU Matter and see this IF pressed Yx button option that does nothing. Here you could, for example, select press 1 time or press 2 times and then turn on the lamp at THEN
Aqara Wall Outlet H2 EU Matter
The Matter devices are managed by Homey itself, the app doesn’t manage the device (it just contains icons and pairing instructions for the device, no actual code). So you should report it here:
Hi!
I have an issue with my HP19. The device with the problem is both Door and Window sensor and T1 version of the sensor. The first one gets added to the system just fine, but stops reporting changes after a couple of hours. The T1 version is added to the system, but is not registering any changes in status.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?
Hi,
I’ve got an Aqara Dual Relay T2 Module which is supposed to support Matter over Zigbee. When I try to add it to my Homey Pro (2023) as a Matter device, it asks for a pairing code. While there are several numbers and several stickers with QR-codes on the module, box and manual, none of these are valid pairing codes.
When I add it via the Aqara app, it is added as a zigbee device, which is not what I want.
How can I connect the module to my Homey using Matter?
Hi,
Any updates to support the vibration T1, I bought thinking that it already had support but it don’t ![]()
I can help, if provide some documentation.
Thanks
But it is zigbee 3.0 directly connected to the homey pro. Matter is only if i connect it first to a aqara hub and I don’t have that
Is anyone else having issues with Maintenance mode on the Aqara E1 Curtain Controller? for some reason I cannot access maintenance mode for any of my devices so assume this must be an app issue? they are all working but need to adjust curtain positions. Any maintenance option gives the following message
Hi all,
Has anyone experienced the loss of buttons working on a Opple wireless switch 4 and 6 buttons?
I upgraded from Homey Early 2019 to Homey Pro 2026. Most apps/devices migrated fine, except for Tuya and Aqara. This is about Aqara here of course. The 6 button one was fine, the 4 button one was not. I removed, reset, paired, maintained, changed battery, everything. It does pair, but button presses are not registered at all. The button press also does not show a blue light on the device. Only during pairing that happens.
After replacing the battery, I tried the same for the 6 button one as it is already 5 years old, and now that one has the same behavior. It pairs, but button presses are not shown on the device or in Homey. I can also ping, but not Interview.
Executing the linked flows from within the Homey app works fine, so the flows are okay.
Any thoughts? I spent about 1,5 day trying to fix this, and no Gemini or GPT seems to know the resolution.
Thanks!
Have you searched the forum for others having Zigbee issues when migrating to a HP2026? Because it’s a common thing.
Hi Robert, yes I did. For Aqara specifically at least.
Although nowhere I found it to be reported that the physical light of the Aqara switches do not work anymore, but that pairing sometimes needs to be done a lot of times for it to work. I’ll search for ‘generic’ Zigbee issues and fixes to see if it leads to anything.
Crap. Apologies.
After reading more threads about HP2026 generic issues with Zigbee, one of the replies mentioned that it may be worth resetting the Zigbee network. Tried that, and now the devices can be paired and they respond. Leaving it here just in case someone benefits from it.
I am running into the same issue and reported it earlier in this topic: [APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home - #6900 by SunBeech
I hope @TedTolboom will fix it in an upcoming release
.
ok, so not just me then, how long as it been an issue as I dont believe it was an issue for more than a couple of weeks
I don’t know for how long, but I ran into it last December, when I wanted to remove one of my curtain drivers. Luckily you can also use the curtain driver’s button to perform the maintenance tasks, but it’s less convenient.
You can’t.
You need an Aqara hub to connect it to Homey via Matter.

It will only report 1x pressing. This issue is also fixed in the next update.
My experience is similar. I have two Opples. Had zero issues with the 2019 version. I paired one with the 2023 model effortlessly, but the second one was a struggle. Even when it wasn’t paired with Homey—and even with Homey turned off—it was still able to toggle the lights!!!.. I also changed the batteries… it finally paired maybe after the tenth try. Don’t ask me how I did it! ![]()
