[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

Hi Ted,

Hope you are well and HNY!

I have scrolling though this post and cannot seem to find a final answer. But i assume i already know as when i tried to pair the device it said it was not recognised still.

The Aqara MCCGQ14LM was this every able to work with Homey ?

Thanks in advance!

at least your triple rocker non neutral is supported. mine is a neutral one been installed for 2 years and yet to get supported.

I have the same problem, does there come a fix for this?
Both battery type and low battery isue?

My guess & comment, even TED never came to this due to the different priorities…the solution is not easy as it would require to apply different discharge curves according to the environmental conditions, eg. mostly temperature. BUT - whenever you got battery measurements flapping, change the battery, it will be on 30% of capacity.

AFAIK the device provides both voltage and battery %, and the latter is totally unreliable, my light sensors on z2m also hop between 0 and 100%.

When you throw another €22-€30 at it:

Just some minor things: all Github links in the starting post are ending in a 404 not found, can you update the links?

I’ve 2 issues with the Aqara Thermostat E1:
in the iOS app, one can not enter negative temperature offsets, since the keypad is lacking a minus sign

i can not set the “external sensor” mode for temperature in advanced settings, when i set it and save, it says:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'replace')

in the little red feedback alert.

edit: oh, and under maintenance the recalibration button is in dutch(?), although the rest is in english.

Thanks for the hard work!

This is something what Athom has to fix, not the App Developer of the Homey Apps.
So please contact Athom Support → Support | Homey

Btw, negative values can be entered in the WebApp.

Edit

This is what @TedTolboom, the App Developer of the Aqara App, wrote ten days ago about the “external sensor” in a other topic:

So it’s on his To-Do list.

I’ m in need of update to pair this device with Homey, but there is no answer. Is it in a do list?

I woke up with a fully crashed homey and after rebooting this app crashed continuously, therefore handed in a report 42919569-9b98-4f5b-a348-418a10626476

I’m currently using Aqara’s Wireless H1 Knob Switch, and I’ve successfully registered it with Homey. However, I couldn’t find any flow cards related to rotation. Could you explain in detail how to use tags for this? I really want to make full use of this knob switch with Homey.

@robertklep @TedTolboom: already my apologies upfront when I’m repeating this question/ issue. I read the thread back towards december 2023 but get lost a bit.

Using several of Aqara smart Plugs (lumi.plug.maeu01). For some of them the power meassurement is working but most of them not. Updated Homey, perform restart, did an interview without results. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Model: Homey Pro (Early 2019)
Version Homey: 12.3.0
Version Aqara: 1.12.1

Probably share your diag. log together with firmware version list, as in the past there were some dependency.

Diagnostic report ID is “5F2E82BF”. How to retrieve the firmwares?

This is Homey debug, you must provide app Aqara debug and firmware details you find in the device details.
Then it depends if the developer is here and reading all the messages.

We added the T1M light a while ago via Matter, now I see the app officially supports. What would reinstalling now provide that the matter install did not? ie is it worth the reinstall? Thank you

Hello developers,

Regarding Aqara T1 door/window sensor (zigbee). I don’t see the log or insights where I could check whether the particular windor or door was opened. It’s only available in the flow I guess.

Any plans to include the insights or at least the log information? It would be beneficial to see if the window or door was opened in the past and when exactly.

Hi, would it be possible to implement a way to set custom presets on LED strip T1? Right now, it is only possible with aqara hub

I just bought 2 Aqara Door & Windows Sensor T1. I have several of thge older version (without T1) since before. ALl the old ones works perfect. Both the new T1 is included in Homey and it looks correct. But they are not “working”. I do not get any alarms. When I check the developer.homey.app zigbee page I can see how they are connected/mapped through an IKEA outlet. I have also tried to connect the sensors standing directly by Homey to ensure no mesh is needed. Still no difference.

I have also tried to do flows to see if I get any triggers but no.

Could it be that the T1 is not compatible with Homey Pro 2019?

I have the exact same problem with T1 and also the previous generation of Aqara water sensors in HP2019. When they are recently added they do not really push any data to Homey (no battery updates, no water alarm when in water etc.) Those added years ago work totally fine. Please report to Homey support. I have an ongoing ticket there, but the more who report the more likely it is to be prioritized I guess.

I have a lot of Ikea routers, but it also applies when the devices use other outlets as routers according to the developer pages.

@TedTolboom You requested diagnostics from those of us who experience this a while ago. Could you read anything out of those?
