Thanks for the pointer, Peter! Prior to buying the outdoor smart plug, I wonder if the two outlets can be independently controlled. I looked at the cards available for Kasa EP40 and KP400 supported by the Homey “Tp-Link Kasa LAN” app, both has “Turn on” and “Turn off” only. I wonder if Turn on/off …

You’d ask the developer of the Kasa LAN app if it’s possible at all to control both outlets independently. Contact info is on the app page at the homey.app store . But it might be very well possible it only has one internal relay switching both outlets.

Both outlets can be controlled independently and in Tapo is shows up basically as 2 devices. Currently struggling with Matter setup myself though but I wasn’t able to use to phone to setup the bridge either so it’s probably my device. Going to steal my gf’s iPhone at some point and try.

Thanks, BubbaRetep! I ended up buying a few IKEA Grillplats. Having said so, pairing Grillplats with Homey Pro via “Connect via Homey” never worked. As many have said on the forum, “Connect via Android” is an alternative, and that indeed works for me as well.
