Summary
-
Device: Innr OSP 240 directly paired to Homey Pro via the INNR app
-
Issue: kWh total jumped by ~+7200 kWh
-
No corresponding jump in V, A or W so only kWh meassurement is affected.
-
Limitation: No reset/calibration options exposed by the device in Homey
Is there a way to manually correct this spike in the database somehow?
I would really lika to keep the rest of the data collected if possible.
Thanks in advance.
No, that’s not possible

That was a disapointing answer, but thanks alot for helping out.
It is an old bug that re-emerged in yesterday’s update of the INNR app.
I contacted the developer yesterday. He confirmed the bug and is trying to solve it a.s.a.p.

Do I understand it correctly that I am screwed if I dont have a Zigby stick to update the firmware on the plug?
To be clear, I dont have an Innr hub. I do have a HUE hub though, but I guess it wont be able to perform an update of the firmware on the INNR plug?
I have firmware: 1.9.34 on the plug at the moment.
The issue is in the INNR app for Homey. That needs to be fixed by the developer. It is not related to the firmware version your plugs are on.
There used to be several issues with the plug. Some were caused by the INNR app (like the above one). One issue was caused by the firmware of the plug itself: power measuring values do not update after unplugging the plug. A repair is required in Homey. This issue is fixed in firmware version 1.9.29 / 1.9.30.
Not sure which version you have. You can check it in the device tile’s advanced settings:
If you are also facing the said firmware issue and you want it fixed, then you need to update the plug’s firmware.
- Currently Homey has no option to update firmware of Zigbee devices, though Athom did announce in their last podcast that they plan to add this feature in the future (don’t ask me when);
- INNR’s own bridge does not support updating the plugs either, but INNR does offer a service to update them for you. You’ll have to reach out to their support desk for that.
- The alternative is that you update them yourselves via Zigbee2MQTT or Home Assistant. For that you need a Zigbee USB dongle.
Also see this post and my earlier posts in that topic for more details.

I have 1.9.34 so I should be good. The plug is recently bought.
Sounds like I should just wait for a fix of the Innr app then.
Need to read up on mqtt and buy at zigby stick for future needs.
Thanks for the extensive answer.

Keep in mind that updating firmware of Zigbee devices via another platform, requires you to pair the device with that other platform. The device will leave Homey’s Zigbee network. You’ll need to repair the device in Homey (via the option in the device tile’s Maintenance section) after the update to reconnect it again.
If you don’t have any firmware issues I would not update the firmware of the plugs. Maybe by the time it becomes relevant, Homey is able to update the firmware itself.

Oh, okay. Well, I will just sit tight then and hope the fix is an easy one.
Thanks again for your help.
I just tested the new test version of the INNR app (version 2.1.54) and that solves the problem in my case (SP240 plugs).
I have asked the developer if it also fixes the same bug for your OSP240 plugs (I assume it does). You might want to install the test version and check it out.
