Does the update also apply to the satellite ?
If you mean Homey Bridge, then no. That device has very different hardware.

The same happened to me 
I tried plugging it into the PC and do a full software download, changing power adapter (even though mine is the 26 model and only been in use for about 4months), I ended up repairing all my 42 Zigbee devices, it took some time to say the least.. On top of that, it’s been really unstable with automations invovling Zigbee after the update, and I got it up running again (So about 4days) And yes. I’ve tried unplug the homey for 10min.. And I’ve also checked that I don’t have any “chatty” devices. I had one Microdim ZB250 that was like 5x more TX then my other devices, so I changed it out to be sure, but still unstable
They definitely screwed something up again… because since the update, my IKEA Kajplats bulbs aren’t working over Thread and it’s impossible to reconnect them and fix the connection. Homey pairs with them via Bluetooth, but then it fails when trying to connect to the Thread network. I’ve restarted Homey several times in the meantime… and the bulbs just won’t communicate with it… so I’ll probably switch them to Zigbee and move them to zigbee2mqtt like all my other non-Wi-Fi devices. I’m completely done with these Athom experiments…
That’s too bad. Did you report this to Athom/reach out to their support team?
No, since it was way faster to move those bulbs to existing zigbee2mqtt integration :).
I can understand that from your personal perspective. But without reporting such issues to Athom, it is less likely that they will fix it for the benefit of all.
I’ve tried that several times already—basically every single time they messed with the Zigbee drivers in the past… and that’s happened quite a few times over the years I’ve been using Homey. It always dragged on for weeks before anything got fixed. For the sake of preserving my marriage and peace at home, I completely switched over to Zigbee2MQTT. I simply can’t afford to have non-functional or constantly glowing lights for weeks, or have to toggle lights using the main circuit breaker while waiting for Athom to solve the problem—or wait days without a response just for them to request another round of diagnostics. I need things fixed immediately, otherwise my wife would kill me. In fact, 99% of our arguments at home are caused by Athom screwing something up right when my wife needs to switch something on or off.
On top of that, to get things working properly again, I had to reset the entire Zigbee network multiple times and re-pair around 150 Zigbee devices from scratch. That’s pure joy when you need everything operational for your wife by morning, but it’s already 11:00 PM and you desperately need to sleep.
To top it off, many of the devices can’t be put into pairing mode without toggling the breakers for an entire floor—which means blasting bright white light into the bedroom in the middle of the night, right where my wife and our small baby are sleeping…
I get your frustration 
. And I know the amount of work that unfortunately goes into a Zigbee reset of a large Zigbee network. I hope that the move to HA/Z2M provides you with a stable setup and a happy family

I am staying on homey 
… but just for operating flows/providing UI and so on… But zigbee network is completely on separate controler and Homey gets those devices in via this app - Zigbee2MQTT | Homey :). Since that move I had much better sleep
