Z-wave is not working via Homey Bridge

Hi,

I have a Homey Pro central device which has two Homey Bridge as extender.

I have many z-wave devicea I want to include to Homey (after removing it from my old z-wave center). The inclusion is not working at all next to any of bridges. I can only include z-wave device with Homey Pro. If the inclusion is done, and put the device to its final location, communication is not working even if the z-wave device is sitting next to Homey Bridge. Getting timeout continously.

Zigbee is working without any problem far from Homey Pro.

I have many z-wave devices cannot be moved close to Homey Pro. I also do not want to move Homey Pro as per I want to closes bridge performs the inclusion.

Any idea for z-wave issue?

Thanks!

Gabor

Are the Bridge and the Homey Pro in range? What does it show in Homey Developer Tools ?

Hi,

Yes, they are in range. I did not know about developers portal, and it seems z-wave is not appearing one of my bridges. Maybe that could be the problem.

Maybe I need to reset or something similar to make it work.

Thanks!

Do the two satellites have Z-Wave connetivity wirh Homey Pro?

Hi,

Yes, thank you. It seems somsthing went wrong during the 1st onboarding process, because one of bridges did not build up z-wave protocol. It did not have route on developer portal.

After offboarding and onboarding, it solved.

Thanks!

Gabor

FYI and for others,

https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/7263667137052-Setting-up-Satellite-Mode-for-Homey-Pro

Keep in mind that Homey Bridge is intended to work in a single location, ensuring seamless connectivity within your home. Using it in Satellite Mode won’t extend your Zigbee and Z-Wave networks to another building, even if you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

So for everyone: first connect the bridges as satellite in neighborhood of Homey Pro and check the Bridge has joined both the zigbee as the Z-Wave network.
