Yale assure lock 2

Sure! The Yale Z-wave Smart Module v2.40.0 came with some instructions, which basically state to take the batteries out before installing the Z-wave module, and put them back once the module is installed. Then input the programming code (I found this in the Yale app), and then press 7, gear, 1, gear, to put it in inclusion mode. Then in Homey, I added a new device using Z-wave. Once it detected the lock I was prompted to put in the DSK. After that, Homey went through the normal add process (name it, place it in an area, pick an icon, etc.). I didn’t realize that Smart Start was supported, so I did not try to use that.

For creating flows, you are going to want the node ID, which can be found in Homey devices under the lock settings. In the picture I’ve attached, you can see my node ID is 5 for that particular lock. And you’ll likely need to use these Z-wave command class frames to lock and unlock the door using flows:
Lock = 0x62, 0x01, 0xFF
Unlock = 0x62, 0x01, 0x00

It’s not as seamless as it could be with a dedicated app, but it works fine once setup. The biggest downside is cost of these expensive locks, plus another $100 for the Z-wave module. Also, I’m not able to see the locks battery percentage in Homey.
