Sorry if this is obvious but I cannot find the information anywhere.`
I’m running 13.2.1, however, I have a message saying 13.4.0 is available. I’ve restarted the server and closed it down and restarted it, but there has been no version update for SHS. Am I running the latest version (13.2.1) or should it have updated to 13.4.0?
Also, are there any version/release/changelog notes for Homey and, in particular, SHS?
I’ve checked the pages you recommended, but I am still unclear as to what version I should be on.
I increased the memory for the machine to 3Gb from 2Gb, as I have seen other SHS users report this being a restriction on updating the VM to a new version, but I am still running 13.2.1, which is 3 versions down.
Just to clear up the changelog, when I viewed the page, it filled the window with just the links to the other pages due to the resolution I have to run it at, due to my eyesight. Mea culpa, I didn’t scroll down, so sorry about that.
According to the changelog, my SHS should be on 13.4.0 and I am still on 13.2.1.
Is there a delay between the release being announced and it becoming available for install? I’m based in the UK.
I’ve checked the startup logs for the machine and there are no errors being reported. Would it be a warning? What should I be looking for in the log?
As previously mentioned, I have increased the machine’s available memory from 2Gb to 3Gb as I have seen others report that this can interfere with the update process if there is insufficient free memory.
if you’re running on windows/vmware etc, check how much free storage you still have within Homey. That was for me always the issue after a little while, the homey-shs vm filled up easily to max because of all kind of unused docker images. When it has no more space, it won’t upgrade.
