What is the significance of 'Legacy' in Tuya?

I keep loosing a device and having to reinstall it as a scene. It is marked as Legacy, is that likley to be part of the problem?

  • You can’t install a device as a scene.
    • You cán however control a device which can’t be installed using tap-to-run scenes created with the Tuya phone app.
  • Devices don’t get marked as Legacy. But when you add a new device, you can choose the ‘Legacy’ driver, or the ‘new’ driver (recently implemented).
