Unable to add devices using the official Tuya app

Because an official Tuya app is now available, I’ve uninstalled the ‘Tuya Cloud’ app that I’ve been using before. Unfortunately, I’m not able to add devices using this app. I’ve tried it using my Android (Google Pixel 8a) phone and using my laptop (web app).

I can login into my Tuya account, but when the ‘consent’ page closes, there is no overview / pop-up with available devices. On my phone the homey app simply doesn’t recognize that I’ve logged in into my Tuya account, so it keeps waiting on the ‘connecting with your account’ page.

The ‘help’ in the app store keeps redirecting me to the homey support page instead of to the support page of the developer.

Has anybody been using this official app with success (using either the web-app or an Android phone)?

You can use both apps side by side.
And please use the appropriate app topic, which is Tuya has officially joined the “Talks With Homey” program
for now.
