What defines an area as active?

I have presence-based notifications that get triggered but the activity dashboard shows that the same room has no motion sensors and has never been triggered.

This is how the room looks like with a blue dot indicating activity:

And when I click through, there’s no motion highlight:

The room has shelly lights/switches, a Tuo smart buttons, an ecobee thermostat and a google home display.

What is triggering the room as active? Why doesn’t the room view show this and only the room’s menu label when I’m in the “house view”?

Motion, occupancy & contact sensors, and active sub-zones.
When such sensor is in a zone and active, or when the sub-zone is active, it shows the activity switch:

A “ghost” active zone could be solved by a reboot, maybe.

Most devices that trigger zone activity also have a setting to in//exclude it from zone activity

The room has no sensors that can be added or removed.

Yet the room has been activating all night

Didn’t you reboot Homey yet?

It solved it

Is this a known issue with the built in activity dashboard/indicator? Am I better off with a 3rd party app from a community developer?
