Do you think this flow will work when away on vacation?
If there are any Norwegians here, can someone assist with how to price control it by the 12 cheapest hours, or the cheapest hours. Only got some cats at home. So pretty sure they’ll be fine in that temp.
They camp the Heater / Varmepumpe (AC) whenever they can no matter what climate is outside.
Hi @Bjorn_Helleberg , the simple answer is: yes it will work.
I am just not sure, if it will do what you want.
Let’s assume the kitchen temperature drops just below 17°C at 5:50h . So the temperature set will be 18°C and the heater puts the temperature up to 18°C. With a very efficient heating system the temperature will either stay slightly below 18°C or maybe slightly above 18°C. But there is no reason to set the temperature to 20°C during the day as it will not go below 18 °C, it will stay above or it will stay below and none of the daytime incidents will occur.
And to me it seems as all the other settings are the same, whatever happens. So why do you want to set the again and again during your vacation? Or maybe I do not understand the reason for those settings.
And to me it really looks as if you want to set the temperature to 20°C at your long daytime and 18°C in the night from 23 to 6h., regardless what the temperature is.
So what is the reason for four incidents and not only putting the temperature to 20°C at 6:00h and to 18°C at 23:00h?
If I understand you correctly, my AC/heater will keep a steady temp, and do whatever required to reach intended temprature?
I am trying to set it up, so the AC shuts off when its not needed, and that the heating cables in the floor is not turned on unless the AC needs help and the prices are low.
When on vacation, I just dont want to cook my cats. So they have like a steady temprature without too much cost.
Thank you again.
PS the reasoning I make double up, is because my braining tells me to make another flow for when the AC is off, and the temprature falls below 20 degrees during night time.
Hi Bjørn,
First you seem to have not understood the principles of flows and their cards. When… cards are just triggers, which fire when an event occurs. “Temperatur blir større enn 21 °C” for example starts, when the temperature becomes greater than 21 °C, which means, only when before it was below (or equal) 21°C and in this second is above. When the temperature is above 21°C it won’t do anything.
Totally different is the And… card.
It does not wait for anything, but only looks at the moment it is asked by the flow, if it is true or not. If not, the flow follows the no branch or just stops doing anything, if there is no no branch as in your case.
The Then… card “Veksle mellom på og av”, if I understand well, switches between on and off, and if you are not sure, which state is, you might get the unexpected outcome. So I would suggest to use explicitly the switch on or switch off card or check before, if they do not exist, check first the state with an And… card.
As I do not know when the price is low or high, or what the modus means, I cannot help there.
Just keep your first flows as simple as possible. Your flows will look like spaghetti early enough
And test them before you go on vacation, check carefully what happens and probably ask us, why it is different from your expectations.
Have fun Dirk
