Hi everyone,
I am wondering If someone ever tried to use the flooding sensor (Reverse lógica) or maybe the temperatur sensor (humidity?) to get an alert when your plants get to dry.
That would be a pretty need functionality.

Never tried, but the sensor needs to be in a puddle to trigger, your plant won’t like that. But there’s also this:
I also found this plant sensor a while ago. But it works on bluetooth what i dont like because it limits the range.
A device that uses the zigbee mesh network would be better.
The aquara sensor also doesnt need to be in a puddle. if i connect both contacts with one finger it triggers the alarm.
