Hi
I have a Homey Bridge
I am looking for a temp sensor so I can get an alarm if temp is to high in my freezer but i can’t find any. Would prefer sensor in freezer and device on the warm side. Any suggestions?
Shelly Plus Addon with a DS18B20 probe.
No Homey bridge needed, works directly with the Homey Cloud app.

On the other hand, I’ve an Aqara Temperature sensor INSIDE the freezer for several years now, works flawlessly;
You’ll need a Homey Bridge (for zigbee).
Hi thanx
No problem with the battery in the cold?
It drains around 2 to 3 times quicker.
It lasts 3 to 4 months, with el-cheapo no name batteries .
Which protocol? Battery operated, or is hard wired, e.g. with a USB Power Supply, also possible? With or without additional hub?
I don’t know where you checked for temperature sensors, because there are a few options that are also compatible with a Homey Bridge, e.g.:
Also suitable for outdoor use:
– Sensative Strips Comfort (Z-Wave)
– SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer (additional Hub needed)
Usable with an external sensor and a power supply:
– Fibaro Smart Implant (Z-Wave)
– Shelly Plus Uni (WiFi)
IMHO only partially recommendable:
– Sonoff Temp. & Humidty Sensor SNZB-02P (Zigbee)
– Sonoff Temp. & Humidty Sensor SNZB-02 (Zigbee, EOL)
