I’m searching a sensor for the fridge, which works with my homey and shows me the temperature. The fridge is in the cellar. I have wifi in the cellar, but zigbee, z-wave are not working. The homey is too far away. Which sensor for the fridge with WLAN can you recommend?
First of all, if you want Zigbee and Z-wave to work in the basement too you should just add lamps or smartplugs all the way down to the basement. They will create a mesh network.
For WiFi; check out Shelly’s temperature sensor.
Zigbee: Aqara’s
Hi, thanks for your answer. Do you mean this shelly sensor? And this sensor, I can place in a fridge? Is this sensor easy to add with the homey shelly app?
The H&T can only process down to -10°C, Ron

You also have this one below. I even use it in one of my freezer: It’s IP65 waterproof as well. I use it with Switchbot Hub.
SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer | Waterproof, IP65 – SwitchBot International
I have an Aqara T1 sensor in my freezer.
Works perfectly, even when the freezer was set to -21°C…
Specs say -20°C, also sufficient for mostly advised optimal temperature of -18°C.
I use the Aqara temp sensor
for several years in the freezer, but it’s not the preferred wifi enabled sensor.
The Door/window T1 sensor is zigbee enabled as well if I’m right.
But @feRon while I assumed the sensor needs to be able to operate at -20°C: is the fridge a fridge (7°C) or is it a freezer (-18°C) ?
It‘s a fridge, not a freezer
OK! In that case the Shelly H&T would do
Sorry for the useless info earlier
