Just updated my P210M in wall outlets with energy monitoring. It now supports real time power, voltage & current monitoring. But only with the app.
Can HP be updated to support this new feature so my flows can be used to monitor heaters?
You should contact Athom Support directly, since Athom is responsible for the Matter integration.
Even though Athom employees are now participating more often in discussions here on the forum, it is, after all, still a user/community forum.
If the plug now supports energy monitoring via the official Matter spec it should work with Homey out of the box. After pairing the capabilities should simply show up.
If it is already paired the device what might work is to go to Homey Developer Tools then select your device and choose “Interview” and use “Update device” at the bottom of the dialog.
I vaguely remember that this has worked for me in the past.
Yes, that did the trick! Everything shows up now including volts, current, power, energy. Not sure why it didn’t automatically show up even after I rebooted Homey.

Repair does require you to do the whole pairing process again (so put device in pairing mode and enter code, etc). Interview + Update device is more or less hands off. Nothing will get reset.
Yes that’s why I asked if it does the same, since it faster and easier
The update was way faster. I would have had to pull the plugs (4) from the wall to scan the QR code stuck to the side of the housing.
