Hi,
I’m new to the Homey devices i recently got the homey early 2023, I have purchased and installed a Tapo P110M mini smart wi-fi plug energy monitoring as a Matter device, it has added but the power monitoring data is only appearing as 0 watts. I am trying to not use their cloud app, could anyone provide any guide as to what might be happening?
Cheers
Ruben
First of all, welcome to the Homey Community!

Hi and welcome!
Power management is not yet supported by the current Matter version v1.2. CSA must first update the Matter version accordingly, and then this version must be added to the Homey firmware. It’s not an Athom/Homey problem/bug.
So you still have to be patient.
This is a Homey problem now, not a Matter problem as matter 1.3 supports energy monitoring.
Homebridge/Home Assistant can read it, why can’t Homey Pro?
I know that power/meter monitoring doesn’t work with HP23, although the changelog says that it has been added since Homey firmware v12.3.0.
Btw, why are you asking me your question in such a provocative way? I am not an employee of Athom and, with a few topic exceptions, this is a user-only forum. So please contact Athom support!

It was a thinking out loud kind of question.
Tapo P110M Energy Monitoring - #60 by mocelet - Matter/Thread - Home Assistant Community implies that one needs a firmware update of the P110M first. HA users are also waiting for Tapo to provide it. Hence it might not be an issue with the Matter support of HA or Homey, but the device itself → Download für Tapo P110M | TP-Link Deutschland
With a P110m firmware update to v1.32 via Tapo app the metering works. Strangly the changelog on the webpage does not show that version.
