Bought Tado X thermostats and temperature sensor hoping to use the sensor of the temperature sensor to control the thermostats. Have connected both directly to Homey with Matter but can not get the thermostats to “disable” the built in temperature sensor and use the separate wireless temperature sensor X. It is not possible with Matter I suppose.
Anyone know how I should set it up to use the wireless temperature sensor x?
With or without the tado° Homey App? Because additional features may be available with the app.
This feature may only be available in combination with the tado° Bridge X. Alternatively, the current Matter version of Homey, which is a mix of v1.2 and v1.3 according to Athom employees, may not yet support this feature.
So lots of unanswered questions. Therefore my suggestion is to ask Athom and tado°.
