I have a flow that is triggered when the heating is turned on. This worked ok for years, but since I started using the heating this winter, the flow is triggered every 15 min.
I contacted Athome (because it’s their app) but still haven’t heard from them.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I think without at least a screenshot of your flow no one can tell?
Do you use the tado app, or tadoZones community app (just to make sure)?
I just added a note in the advanced devices app, as I was also struggling with the if target temp changed. in my case it works sometimes, and slowly, but not always:
I am pretty sure it’s an issue with the app.
I made a new flow with the same trigger as shown above and with the only action to write to the timeline (notification)
In the timeline exactly every 15 min. a message is written. When I restart the Tado app, that’s the starting point of the 15 min. cycle.
If you’r sure it is an App error, then contact Athom:

EDIT: you already did that, sorry
Like said in my starting post, I reported the problem to Athom a while ago, but didn’t get a response.
I was curious if other people where facing the same issue as I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall everything if it ain’t gonna fix the issue.
Is your thermostat working as a switching thermostat or as a modulating thermostat?
Is this probably changed?
It’s modulating. No changes since installation.
Do you have a Tado (not X) system?
Yes, I have a Tado(not X), but I don’t have the Tado App installed on my old 2016 Homey because small memory, I can see my Tado on Home Assistant.
Sorry, I have no idea what the course of your problem is, maybe the length of the ON period gives an indication?
There seems to be a new value been sent around every 15 min:
Maybe that’s the reason.
Oke, that’s unfortunately. Would like to know if I am the only one experiencing this.
Is that data from HA, or from Tado?
In Homey the 15 min. cycle depends on the start of the Tado app. So when I restart the app at xx:21 it triggers at xx:36, xx:51, xx:06, etc.
I will wait if someone with the Tado app can confirm/decline of this is an app issue, otherwise I guess I have to reinstall the app and recreate all my flows.
Thanks for your input!
Try the tadoZones app, Wilco. It can run next to the Athom app, simultaneously; so no need to uninstall stuff when testing.
Curious if it’s tado, or the Athom app.
Yes, that’s a HA graph.
Thanks, I will try.
I did see that app but from the info page I noticed the “turned on” and “turned off” cards are not shown. So I thought it could not replace the “official” app.
But good to know I can use both apps side by side.
