Hi,
I am looking for a way to pair my squeezebox (esp32 muse) with my homey pro.
Any ideas? (or maybe you have a better BL-speaker that i should use?)

I had to retire my LMS system some months ago. I ran an LMS server on a RPi for a couple of years with Squeezebox Touch and Squeezebox Duet. I decided to replace it when the SD Card of the RPi gave up.
Anyway, I bought a WiiM Ultra to replace the SB with. It has an app for Homey and apps for phone and wintendo. Works like a charm.
In the home office, I have two IKEA Symfonisk speakers (which are Sonos basically). I have a lot of problems with the Sonos app though and whilst the audio quality is decent for what it is, it can’t compete with the WiiM (which is hooked up to my main hifi system).
The WiiM features 24-bit, 192 kHz uncompressed digital out… fits my DAC perfectly. Really nice!
In the past there was aan APP Called “Squeezebox” from @MarkT
These one for playing around with the old LMServer (Started als a slim device but acquired by Logitec, but all so logitech stopt the support)
Now a group off def or rewriting again the orginal source off the squeese server ( Lyrion Music Server)
Maybe try to get in contact with the orginal def off the APP “Mark T”, maybe he can share the source with you. Or get him again onboard.
On my Homey (2016 Kick) I can select the app Squeeze to add the APP, but I don’t dare to do it
Not the answare you wan’t but some idea’s to do in the Christmas time
I had in the early day’s a complet setup off Slim divice’s (2000-2008) in my house but moved to Sonos (after a lot off failures with the Logitech rebuild). the Storrage off all the MP3’s is still running on my NAS (as music lib.)
Thnx for all the replies. What i am testing now: homey pro on a usb-c hub (hub has ethernet/usb-a/usb-c, display port and audio out. I added a speaker to the hub)
But how to test?
ps: i dm-ed Mark Tudor…
ps2: it seems that home pro has no bluetooth receiver/sender? Will test with a bluetooth dongle (when i have one)
