Can I connect Homey Pro to a custom built wifi speaker?

Hi,

I want to build some wifi speakers, I’m getting the electronics for them, and I will be using ESP32s as the base SBCs.

I will almost certainly be using Logitech Media Server.

There are no apps for it, and squeezebox is not working with HP2023.

Question: Has anybody got anything planned or working, or should I give up?

I have a broken Sonons 5, and some shelf speakers I’m going to convert. Before anyone says it.. I don’t want to buy more Sonos :smiling_face:

Not fully what you are looking for, but I connected my custom build speaker via a chromecast audio.

The chromecast connects to homey and has an optical output that I connected to a mini class A amplifier.

Works fine, I can advice it as a good way to connect custom (or other non-connected speakers)
