I’ve been using both apps on my HP23 for a long time without any problems. Each of them offers some info the other one does not. Recently though, my timeline is filled with errors. I waited some weeks to give it time to sort it self out, but it isn’t happening. I reinstalled both apps, increased the polling interval, doublechecked the api, but I can’t find a problem there. The apps do get data, so it is not like they are completely dead, but they’re not doing well either. I also tried disabling one app, but then the other app just as happily continues to error. I can reach my account and log in at solar edge without any problems. I’m at a loss. Suggestions?

It’s best practice to use the special app topics, keeping things centralised, and reaching fellow device owners and the developer the quickest way. Other ways to contact developers are mentioned at the app store pages.

In case your inverter has Modbus onboard, I’d suggest to use the Modbus app, eliminating cloud and API dependencies

I wasn’t sure where to post the problem, since it is about two separate apps having the same problem. I figured it was perhaps an underlying Homey problem. It I’ll follow your advice , and wil also check out that modbus thing app
