I see many comments here and other topics requesting the Web App to support Dashboard but people not pressing the like button on the very first message. This is how they count the number of requests so please don’t forget to also like the first message
Yes I noticed and I’ve read all. Web App usage less then 20% was a comment 1 year ago. Just saying that with not even one fulltime developer more, they could easily address this - and certainly after all this time. Changing ownership to LG may not have helped either. It’s a choice not to, it might cost them customers and IMO way more than 20% of the users would like to see a web dashboard happen. Not sure why you have to be such a douche about it towards me.
It’s also, IMO, illogical to not be able to edit advanced flows on mobile devices but you are being forced to use mobile devices for the dashboard. Does not make sense.
@Soeski
Unfortunately, the favorite sport of many people in this community seems to be acting rude or simply ignoring anyone without an “important” status here.
Honestly, I spent just two hours building a working dashboard that runs from the web and updates in real time with Homey entities and guess what, I’m not even a developer !!!
We’re talking about a team and a company that’s now a tech giant with almost unlimited resources, yet we’re told they “can’t do everything at once,” as if only two people were working there. That’s unacceptable.
It’s equally unacceptable that the Tuya integration still hasn’t been properly addressed.
In one of my threads I even pointed out that there’s an official Tuya GitHub repo that could help solve the WiFi device integration issue with a bit of effort. The same goes for Tuya Zigbee devices they’re often inexpensive but essential for testing and prototyping.
Not everyone can spend €4,000–€5,000 on sensors and smart devices just to make their home “smart.” If that’s the model we’re following, then the Home Assistant users are right after all.
Sometimes cheaper devices work great yet here, it feels like if something doesn’t cost a fortune, it’s automatically ignored. That’s not the spirit of innovation or accessibility that should define this ecosystem.
It’s funny to see that mobile phone users are increasingly switching to tablets.
A bit too cramped, though. Like the advanced flows?
There was a good one for the web, but unfortunately, I have to keep quiet now.
I have been migrating over from Smartthings to Homey. What started this was I was using ActionTiles as my dashboard with smartthings, but Actiontiles went out of business and everyone’s dashboards disappeared! I could have switched to Sharptools dashboards but they had subscription fees so I opted to switch to Homey because of the native dashboards and more advanced automation features. I also didn’t like that their new hub was dropping z-wave.
The big problem I’m having is that my dashboard was on a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator. It’s the ultimate dashboard because it’s huge, in the middle of the kitchen and doesn’t take up any extra wall space. However, I have to use a standard web browser for dashboards. You can’t use normal android apps. No way to side-load either.
So it looks like I’m going to have to pay Sharptools anyway!
Or maybe Homey could make an app for the Family Hub? It’s possible the existing android app would work and just needs Samsung approval, though they might not like a competing smart hub on their platform.
Very unlikely this would happen. In that case they’ll go for a web dashboard (if it’s on the todo)
To create a web (&app) dashboard which doesn’t quit when the manufacturer decides, I’d go for Home Assistant.
They now have several “click and here’s a dashboard for your home”, up until build it from scratch just how you like it.
I’ve written a tutorial, to have Homey publish all it"s devices & events to H.A. and it’s interactive.
I run HA on a €75 mini-PC, but you can look for a used RPi as well.
Just some ideas!

How many times does someone have to announce ‘I have to be quiet now’ before he / she actually will be quiet? Is ‘vinegar pisser’ an English saying?
Not sure, but pisse-vinaigre certainly is not, pardon my french…

i’m a brand new homey homie and i searched the web looking for instructions on how to access dashboards on the web. couldn’t find any but found this… +1 for the request. can’t believe the functionality doesn’t exist. i don’t want to set the dashboards up from my phone…
quiet
(sorry, please don’t kill me now
, and don’t call me pee beam
)
Maybe we should al be quite quiet and quit ?

I have just bought a Homey Pro on the prime assumption it would be fully configurable from a pc app.
I am shocked and and considering returning the product - not cheap, at least HA has a configurable pc dashboard!.
Why do people assume we all live by a phone? Not clever when it fails or our dexterity lessens as we age.
The ‘only 20%’ doesn’t seem believable unless it is that most people have found that the pc version so lacking.
Come on, lets have a proper ergonomic dashboard on pcs please and soon.
Thanks
Why do people assume a device has certain capabilities, and not check this before buying it ?
Because it is not at all clear that the pc ‘fixed’ display is not a dashboard.
Still I’m pleased to know Johan P has never bought anything that wasn’t as expected, but I’m sure when it happens he’ll share the experience.
My post was aimed at Athom and all the others on this forum who are urging urgent attention to this deficiency - Athom please re-asses and re-prioritise.
Running Homey Android on Blue Stacks is not ideal.
Because some things are considered a “standard”? HA supports it. Even HomeKit supports it (through 3rd party apps).
Homey dashboards are a masterclass in missed opportunities. The lack of proper desktop support is bad enough, but the forced “column” layout really takes the cake. Heaven forbid users be allowed to freely arrange widgets, leave empty space, or resize anything, you know, like Android has been doing it since 2011. That would clearly be far too modern.
My favourite part is my cameras dashboard, where every feed is proudly crammed into a 1:1 square, giving me wonderfully squashed video live streams on my phone. This design brilliance shines on my Tab S9+, massive amounts of screen real estate while still refusing to let anything be placed freely or scaled and cameras stay square, because… consistency across devices matters?
But no! Because somehow on my iPad mini the camera widgets remember what an aspect ratio is and display in proper 16:9!
Of course, basic official clock and calendar widgets are nowhere to be found. Going for minimalist, less is more, approach I suppose?
In that case you should write to Athom support (homey.app/support) because this is a user forum.
Another assumption gone wrong…
My issue was you assumed something, but are annoyed someone else assumed something.
And yes, before I buy something I want to be sure it meets all, or at least most, of my preset demands…
And sure, sometimes things don’t work as I expected, but then I blame my expectations, and not someone else…
Like HDashboards, or Smashing Dashboards, or SharpTools, or Homepage Extender, or Node Red, or Homey Dash, or…
But bottom-line, if Homey doesn’t work for you, if you want to re-arrange everything maybe you should use HA instead… If Homey doesn’t meet my demands I know I would…
I already have HA (does have a pc dashboard), but automations (Flows) invariably end up requiring jaml - despite what their forums say - they also advocate one form of device reference methodology, then use another in their visual editor.
After 25 years of complex X10, I came to Homey as a potential X10 replacement, to use 433MHz remotes amongst other things and for easier/better, logic flow wiring, akin the SIMPL in Crestron (fantastic PC interface) which I admire having written a massive Studio automation system in it.
As to why I have raised this matter in this forum as well as with CS, it’s because ‘Emile’ (Founder) has contributed to it several times and I assume still ‘listens in.
Last October he said -
“To be honest, I would also like Homey Dashboards to be available on the Homey Web App. Yet we have to make choices where to spend our developers’ time.
And if you knew all other fantastic things we’re working on, I’m sure you’d prioritize those as well!”
So I remain hopeful.
