Turning the phone to landscape in the Onvif Camera app also systematically crashes the Homey phone app, so yes this is very likely a system-wide Homey app issue that needs to be adressed by Athom.
My PoE camera is now working quite well since the 1.0.4 update, although I did have to delete both my Home Hub Pro and the Doorbell and re-add both for everything to work correctly.
Homey no longer crashes when turning to landscape mode. The camera no longer stretches in portrait mode.
There is some noticeable latency and stuttering every few seconds, but all the signs are currently positive and I’m now looking forward to setting up some Flows and will continue to test.
I have 2 video doorbells, 1 WiFi camera and 4 POE cameras from Reolink, but the Reolink app in Homey can’t find any of these cameras. In the camera settings, the necessary functions are enabled. I have already added them through the Onvif app. Do I still overlook something that can make connection possible?
VLAN? Separate IoT network?
Every update breaks my devices, meaning I have to re-add
In fact 1.0.9 doesn’t work at all
Do note this app is still under development and these anomalies are to be expected ![]()
Warning! This app might not work properly.
Not sure, but possible.
I meant: do you use VLAN’s or separate (IoT/guest) networks? Often those aren’t configured correctly, which can hamper device discovery.
I am testing this app a while, but noticed that my flow was broken, the IF card is suddenly gone, the IF here was to trigger the flow when someone pressed the button on the doorbell itself.
When I try to change it I cannot find it, which card must I use to start a flow when the doorbell is ressed now?
I have an original hub and a hub pro. I can connect to the pro but not the original. Anyone know if this is intentional or am I missing something?
Not sure what the original hub should be, the white sphere?
With my Pro 2019 the app installs, and it fnds my reolink devices without issues.
What do you exactly mean with “I can connect”?
Ok, original I mean the Reolink Home Hub (SD cards) and the latter is Reolink Home Hub Pro (HDD). By connect, I mean the app/homey doesn’t find my home hub but does find the pro. It connects to cameras via the hub when using hubs.
Aaah I see.
You’d best notify the developer here:
GitHub - koktail-nl/com.reolink.issues or send an email message
(as mentioned on the app page at the homey.app store) .
I added official app thread: [APP] Reolink
