Reolink App - "Negotiation"

Some Reolink cameras also support the Onvif protocol. I used this app to connect my Reolink Wi-Fi doorbell, and the live feed works too!

The integration is coming together nicely and is now in early testing. The goal is to have a test release ready before Christmas.

Has anyone tried the test app shown in the latest podcast?

Ive installed it but can’t get it to detect my doorbell even though I’ve enabled , Https, onvif, rtsp. Anyone else tested it out and managed to get it to work?

I just tried on both Pro and SHS, it doesn’t find my doorbell nor my E1pro cam.
The Onvif Camera app discovers both instantly.

You’d best report it to:

I tried the app, bt it does not find my doorbell (D340W).

HA finds the doorbell with no issue, but homey doesn’t find anything.

Also the store does not show any cards to trigger when a doorbell is pressed or person is reqonized.

Please report these issues with a diagnostic report so that they end up with the developer!

I’ve tried the app, but will not find any camera, even with https, rtsp e onvif enabled.

My cameras are on a different network and there was no option to enter IP manually. I’ve sent that feature request to the app dev.

Looking forward to see what an native app can bring to the table. Onvif app is currently working OK except for dubble notifications. Only thing I would like to have currently is manually trigger the siren on and off for the cameras with siren feature built in.

Any improvements for anyone yet?

If you feel like it, did you discuss it with Adrian already? He’s likes to sort things out.

Enjoying :christmas_tree: vacation I guess

I did try following the suggestions for how to change the settings he gave to others with same issue. Didn’t work for me. I even tried to set a timer to mute notifications for 5 seconds, but the notifications are comming faster than it takes for the timer to activate

I was able to add my Home Hub Pro to the Reolink app this evening, after the latest 1.0.2 update.

Reolink PoE doorbell has also been added successfully.

I can’t see the camera feed on my my phone, it doesn’t work
I can see the camera feed on the web browser, but the feed isn’t live, it’s a static which you have to update.

No luck getting the feed to work on dashboards either.

On update v1.0.3
Doorbell: everything works, except for the visitor detection (the button press)

Works like absolute dog poo for me on 1.0.3

Going full screen in portrait stretches the camera resolution, which looks naff.
If I then turn my phone to landscape, the entire Homey app crashes.

I’m thinking this sounds more like a Homey app issue, than a Reolink app issue.

The portrait fullscreen image is indeed ridiculous, but this is “as designed” by the Homey app:
it’s exactly the same with other apps and other cam brands.

Here the Homey app nor the Reolink app don’t crash when I turn the phone to landscape in fullscreen mode (old Android 15 phone, app v9.6.7.1869), so I’m not sure what caused it on your phone.
