I read in the App Store guidelines that you may not use code of others. However, does this also count for the icons? My new Third Reality Hub app has support for the same smart plug as the official Third Reality app, so would it then be fine to re-use that icon? I can also request another one at the homey-vectors-public repo, but that wouldn’t be necessary if the icon from the regular Third Reality app can be re-used
Icons are typically copyright-protected, just like code. So you need permission from the “icon owner” to reuse them.
