Homey bridge service is offline - due to maintenance in Frankfurt.
Surely, there should be some failover in place, but if there is then it isn’t working for me.
Everything is offline.

Failover is usually, as the name suggests, in case of failures.
A pre announced maintenance isn’t a failure, but a planned down time.
As long as the service is in Beta, be prepared for this to happen (many) more times.
How long the actual downtime is depends on many factors, but usually should be pretty short.
Maintenance should not result in a service outage for a SaaS service. The user season’s should failover to the designated backup servers when the primary servers are withdrawn for maintenance.
If this is not working in a controlled situation, then I have no confidence that it will work in an unplanned situation.
According to recent emails, the Homey Bridge service is meant to be just 2 weeks away from becoming a chargeable service, so this should all be working by now.
