Problem with Fibaro Walli Switch

After latest update 13.4.0 my Fibaro Walli Switches doesn’t report power consumption and one from two outputs (second one) doesn’t work (wirelessly) It work by hand but not when I try to change it status by Homey. Anyone with same problem?

Missing Capability Listener: onoff.output2 - error when I try to change status of output 2

That’s an issue in the app. Report it here:

I did it

Same here since a few weeks. No solution so far for me.
In my case, the flows associatted with a fibaro switch failing with Missing Capability Listener: onoff.output2 are dissapear “automagically” :frowning:

Same here.
However, I can’t say whether it’s due to the new firmware v13.4.0 or possibly yesterday’s Fibaro app update to v3.8.10.
Since July 1, I’ve had all the RC versions installed, and I didn’t notice the problem during that time.

However, I’ve noticed another issue related to the Fibaro Walli Switch. The quick action for turning the Walli Switch on and off—configured as a single-switch module—is no longer working either. I’m currently using iOS TestFlight version 10.1.0.2047.

Edit
This problem also occurs with some Fibaro Walli Switches that are configured in single-switch mode: Missing Capability Listener: onoff.output1

Edit 2
After I contacted Athom support and had to provide them with a Homey diagnostic report, I received the following response:

Hi Dirk,

Thanks for the quick follow‑up and for sharing the Diagnostic Report ID E76329ED, got it.

This matches a known issue we’re investigating; your logs will help us pinpoint it for the Walli Switch driver.

As soon as I hear more or development asks for more information I will reach out to you!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,

I hope the problem will be resolved soon.

I re-add my Fibao Walli Switch and it is working ok now

I hope the issues can be resolved without having to use exclusion/inclusion, since the flows need to be fixed and the device settings need to be configured again.
While it’s relatively easy to fix the broken flows using the Flow Converter app, it still takes significantly more effort than installing new firmware or updating the Homey Fibaro app.

Missing Capability Listener means that the developer forgot to register the capability listener in their app, should be fixable by the developer without users having to re-pair the device.

But by registering capability it will fix the issue we are facing with powering on/off the switch channel, right? There are a second issue which is fibaro switches don’t reporting consumption changes (I used it for triggering a lot of flows in my env as I couldn’t rely on “on” / “off” event at it’s so slow to get updated into homey).

In my case, those are two different issues.
Thank you!!

I noticed another problem last night. Some Philips Hue lights (Zigbee) aren’t turning on, which should actually be triggered by Fibaro and NEO Coolcam motion sensors (Z-Wave) when it gets dark.
Since the lights can generally still be controlled via flows, the problem is probably also related to the Z-Wave part.
I’ll have to contact Athom about this.

Edit 30.07.2026

The problems I encountered were not caused by the Z-Wave motion sensors, as I had initially suspected!

This is a user forum, and Athom support staff are not active here. That is why we recommend contacting Athom support.

I tried removing and adding my walli switch again but issue is still there.

Message i get is: Missing Capability Listener.

any other solution?

Create support request. That’s the solution. I am already sending diagnostic reports and there’s v3.8.11 test build out, which fixes Output 2 on Walli Switches (two loads configuration).

Anyway, in my case Walli Switches configured for one load only (only Output 1) aren’t working still.

In my opinion there’s no longterm solution instead of reporting to the app dev to fix this issue.

After installing test version of Fibaro app Output 2 and Output 1 is working fine again but Output 1 doesn’t show power consumption.

I can confirm the experiences of @Adam_Skamrala and @Lukasz_Kostek.
I already notified Athom Support about this issues a few minutes ago.

Edit

Hmm, I was just about to run another test for Athom Support on a Walli Switch configured in DUAL switch mode, and the error message popped up again: Missing Capability Listener: onoff.output1
In an Advanced Flow, I received a “Timeout” error message. Several seconds later, the output still switched on.
After that, I was able to switch the outputs again using the smartphone app.
So I have absolute no clue, what is going on here!? :man_shrugging:

I’ve just restarted my Homey, and I’ll continue to monitor how the Fibaro Walli Switch behaves.
