Ok I cheked. Homey 2016 is absolutely compatible with Zwave plus, no change on that matter.
Also funny u never added a Zwave device before. U have a Homey for like 5 years and just added a CoCo device? Or u just bought the Homey from Ebay? Is the time zone of ur Homey the same as u bought the Fibaro sensor for?
Like timezone Homey Europe and Fibaro sensor EU?
Just trying to help.
Ow, one more thing:
Did u try a new battery? The only way to know if the battery is ok is to measure it.
Sorry, the forum didn’t allow me to answer you yesterday due to my message quota as a newbie.
Anyway, you are 100% true, my fibaro is US, 908Mhz. My Homey is european.
It is plain dead :-(.
Then buy a EU Fibaro sensor because they are not gonna work together because of the difference in MHz.
The Z-Wave protocol uses 868,4 MHz radio frequency in Europe, 908,4 MHz in
USA and 921.4 in AUS/NZ on unlicensed ISM bands. The protocol was launched
with 9600 b/s data transmission but it has been raised to 40Kbps. Both versions
of the protocol are compatible.
