[PRO][Dashboard] HDashboards a dashboard system fully focussed on Homey

Interesting, my servers dont block any ip address. Might have something to do with DNS settings of your router? Any special settings applied?

Not that I’m aware of and it’s only your website and App that I have any issues with. I will try other routers today and get back to you.
Can you identify what is causing the error message that your App is throwing back that I documented above?

On another topic before I put in too much effort.
Is it possible in HDashboard to add a tile which displays the value of a variable, and then set the colour of the tile based on its value. I.e. green if >0 and red if <0

Cause is that your network is not allowing the SSL certificate. But it’s just a normal certificate.

Yes in HDashboards you can show flow tokens. Currently for homey pro 2023, 2019 and 2016 support coming soon. And yes. Via the companion app you can make flows inside homey that will make the background change on any conditions. It comes with flow support.

Thanks. I have had a look at Sharptools. One of the key capabilities I’m looking for is to be able to display the value of a Homey variable and set the tile colour based on the value. I.e. green if >0 and red if <0
Is this possible using the Sharptools dashboard?

Not sure what Flow Tokens are. How do they equate to the value of a variable?

Not sure how I trouble shoot that. Again it’s only your website, and it’s the same regardless of the device or browser I use. Can this be being done by my router?

Don’t know I can only talk for hdashboards

Yes different word for variable is flow token .

Can you send me a private message with your number for WhatsApp or another direct communication channel. So we can find the issue together?

Sure, thanks for your support here Menno. I have a few things on this morning, so I will try another router first so I can let you know how that goes. Then I will PM you on FB. I’m not a Whatsapp user so not sure of the best way to talk. Maybe FaceTime, teams or similar?

Interesting. I went to a public network in a cafe and I could load your website. Then I went to my son’s place who has the same ISP as me (Telstra in Aust) and it wouldn’t load. Must be something to do with their network or router setup.

Hmmm interesting. You could set the dns in the router to Googles dns servers. But still weird that the isp doesn’t approve something

This is what Chrome reported.

"hdashboards.app normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Chrome tried to connect to hdashboards.app this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be hdashboards.app or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit hdashboards.app right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later."

and then

" Attackers might be trying to steal your information from hdashboards.app (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID"

Fixed. As soon as I changed the DNS provider the problem was fixed. When I researched this it turned out that this was a known issue with Telstra’s DNS.

OK, so I can now login on my Mac, and open the hdashboard web app and see the 3 dashboards I created but I can’t login to the iOS app on my phone or Ipad using WiFi. OK on 5G.

I still get this:

SOLVED. As well as having to do the router I had to go onto Settings/WiFi/Press the i button next to the modem name, and then configure DNS. Changed to manual and removed all DNS servers other than Google.

From their website:

  • Homey Logic Variable values can be mapped to a virtual device using Homey Flows

Great App, I’m setting up my first dashboard.
I have a strange thing, the Icoon is different as the one I picked in the Homey App.
Anny idea how to fix?
