Powermax Pro w/ Homey Pro Requires a Reboot after exiting from Installer Mode

Integrating my Visonic Powermax Pro Alarm System with Homey Pro using a USR-TCP232-E2 serial to ethernet card works great. The panel and Homey Pro work together perfectly. However when going into the Installer Mode on the alarm panel and exiting, Homey no longer processes requests from the Powermax Pro App. I can see the log entries in the Powermax Pro event log (such as Arm Home), however Homey will not process the events until Homey Pro is rebooted. I can also arm/disarm from homey pro and the alarm panel responds (so I know that route of comms is good), it just will no longer respond to the events coming FROM the alarm panel. Once Homey is rebooted everything works again (until the next time going into Installer Mode on the alarm panel of course). Obviously that’s not a good solution. Please help, there seems to be something wrong with Homey Pro requiring a reboot to reset the comms from the panel.

Homey Pro (2026) version is 13.5.3 and Visonic PowerMax version is v3.0.4. Restarting the Powermax App does not help. Like I said the app is logging the events in the eventlog, so Homey is getting the notifications. Only restarting the Homey Pro device works to resolve it.

Update: I did find another way to reset it without rebooting Homey. If I unplug the power to the USR-TCP232-E2 and plug it back in Homey will respond to the events again once it comes back online. A fix for now is for me to put a reminder label on my alarm panel to unplug the USR-TCP232-E after going into installer mode. Wish it was just automatic, but at least I’m not rebooting my Homey each time now.
