I am curious to learn if someone has created a flow which uses PBTH i.c.w. a water flow sensor (homewizard etc.) and /or gas boiler status such as ‘tap water increase’, burner running’ etc.(on intergas Xtreme in my case), together with virtual devices to send a notification or similar after sanitary hot water has been used.
I’d like to track the amount of gas used whenever hot tap water is used for showering etc. and would like to use PBTH to also summarize on a daily, weekly and monthly interval in order to differentiate gas used for this from my total gas usage.
I hope the above is clear, and look forward to learn!
Thanks Peter, I was aware of the summarizing function of PBTH, but not how I could differentiate between total gas consumption and consumption for sanitary hot water only.
I will have a look at what you have sent.
Many thanks,.
I have downloaded the flow, and entered the devices I want to use as triggers, as well as modified the words used in the notifications, but I can’t seem to get the logic cards ‘zet gas.value_started of stopped’ to automatically generate the tags needed for the next logic card (bereken gas.value etc).
I use two triggers: flowrate and drawn electrical power (power and flowrate more than) icw and ‘all’ card to determine when my boiler is used to provide hot sanitary water, and these same cards (power and flowrate less than) to determine when it has stopped. These function as intended (tested with individual timeline notifications), but the logic cards fail to automatically produce a differential value: when I run the flow from the ‘all’ card a notification containing the differential is produced.
Any clue what is stopping the logic cards from being executed?
Edit: It seems I can only use one trigger, so I will have to look for another way of differentiating between sanitary hot water- or heating use of the boiler…
