New Homey user, with several issues with Brel blinds remote , stability of H Pro, Philips Hue, Logitech Harmony hub, Cube T1 - where to start?

Hi all,

We have been expanding our smart home for years now and I have decided on Cyber Monday to join the Homey community. However as a new user I’m running into multiple issues. What would be a good starting point for fixing these issues?

  1. Every morning my Homey Pro says - Can not connect with Homey Pro (it is connected via Ethernet and Wifi). All other devices connected to the same router and wifi seem to work OK;
  2. When using moods for my lights not all of my 55 Philips Hue lights on the ground level respond on the first click. Sometimes only on a 2nd or 3rd click I see them all switch to the right mood;
  3. I can’t seem to register a response from my Brel Remote (Model: DD-2702H - 433 Mhz) that control our blinds. I found two Brel-related apps, bit none of the two work for me. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.
  4. I can not get my Aqara Cube T1 Pro to do anything (I do see movements etc, but when programming a flow nothing happens). This is not a big issue yet because I only played with this the first time last evening so I need to work on this.
  5. Homey Pro doesn’t find my Harmony hub (which is working great with Harmony remote controls). A Logitech Harmony elite. I have no idea why not. The process seems pretty straight forward but I just get the error: no hub found.

All in all, not a flawless first experience. And I don’t consider myself a full noob (bit it feels like it now :wink: ).

Thanks for any help or guidance to where to find info or maybe a good YouTube channel etc to follow.

Both these issues have existed for many years now, and are, apparently, unsolvable.

It is almost a philosophical question, but how can “Homey Pro” report that it cannot find the “Homey Pro”. Is he looking for himself or is he unaware of his own existence?

It’s easier than it might seem…
The Homey app on your mobile or tablet cannot find Homey Pro, so the app reports it, not the Homey Pro (the hardware) itself…

Better to do so first. And if not found, post your questions in the appropriate topics (i.e. Hue, Brel, etc).
