One of several reasons why I got rid of all my Netgear and changed to Ubiquiti. I used Netgear for more than a decade and they have got progressively worse and want everyone to use overpriced subscription models for basic functionality

Meh, I didn’t want to repeat my angry rant .
I had some of their devices. Bought another kit to expand the mesh network, but couldn’t because their marketing department (I guess) had decided to lock devices sold as a kit so they couldn’t be added to existing networks. Waste of money.
