Really hoping someone can help 
I have set of Nanoleaf Shapes in my daughters room and for some reason the Nanoleaf App turns them on randomly at all hours of the day AND night.
I have one flow for a Hue Switch where they are a part of besides that I do not have any automations or flows related to her room.
I can also see that it is nanoleaf that is turning them on and not my group or flow.
Has anyone else had issues with this?
“Turned on by Nanoleaf” usually means it was turned on by an outside source and the Homey app just picked up the signal that it was turned on.

I know, that is also why I am frustrated 
I have no idea why it does it… I have tried contacting app developer, but still no reply.
What I’m trying to say is that the app isn’t doing this.
Okay, that makes sense - but it is only me and my daughter that has the stand-alone nanoleaf app installed on our mobiles? That is the only other source, that would be able to turn them on with.
And there is not configured any automations or schedules there either.
To rule out that it’s the Homey app, you can disable it. Perhaps it has a bug that’s causing this behaviour.
I would also temporarily remove the Nano app from your daughter’s phone, and, if possible, from your phone as well.
Start from scratch to start troubleshooting 
Which Thread border router do you use btw? The Homey one?
Not sure about the thread border router? Just updated the firmware on the nanoleaf and connected them directly to my Homey
None, because if it was using Thread/Matter the timeline wouldn’t be showing messages that originate from the app.
