It would be nice for example for temperature sensors to display multiple indicators on the status, one under each other, for the cases where you have also humidity and maybe CO2 data available.

my.homey.app has a “big tile” setting, showing multiple statusses
This makes the home screen show the same layout.
If it only regards some specific devices, then you could consider creating an Advanced Virtual Device (using the Device Capabilities app), which allows you to set the indicator that whatever you want (e.g. based on a calculated value or combined values / text elements provided by a flow). For example:
i still find it complicated for a normal user and with this i remain in mind that homey was build to be also simple. if i want lots of scripting there are plenty of other options. I still think that it could be implemented simple to select what data to be shown in that area.
so in case the homey developers find this post and find it usefull maybe it could be implemented in a future release
