I’m four weeks into my Homey journey, and I love the system and its ecosystem of apps and developers. The majority of KNX was easy to set up, and although I missed some bits and pieces, such as the absolute control (%) of window blinds, I managed to find ways around it with KNX telegrams and flows.
What I am struggling with is the combination of KNX and Homey Moods. In some moods, I have a combination of KNX dimmers and switches, and in other moods, I also added some Hue lights to the mix. When using Moods, KNX behaves unreliable. Often, lights are not switched on. At other times, they do not switch off or change brightness when I change the Mood. Annoyingly, in this situation, lights often stay on, while Homey thinks they are switched off. So, I question if Homey listens on the KNX bus in this context.
I have not yet created a support ticket, and I am curious how other KNX users experience Moods in combination with their configuration.
I use a Weinzierl 730 IP device to connect to the bus.
