Matter: Hue devices not reporting battery status

Today I found out the hard way that hue devices connected via matter (matter via hue bridge) do not share the battery status.

In the homey app the battery status of my hue motion sensor showed “good” and fully green.

This morning I noticed my lights did not turn off (Lux measurement).
I noticed the Lux measurement had not changed and also motion had not triggered. It seemed disconnected.

I opened the hue app on my phone, that showed the battery as critical!

I was aware matter on homey did not support energy reporting yet.
But I was not aware this included battery status…

So be warned…

Hope it will be solved with matter 1.3

I can’t find any mention of “battery” in the Matter device implementations of 12.3.0-rc.7.

Resolved a problem where battery status wasn’t displayed in some cases.
