I think the dashboards are more important for them, because there are several (IMO a lot) issues that are much more important than dashboards… But it seems to be hard to pick the right priority…
But that is a bit off topic and has nothing to do with this topic.
I’am wondering if this iOS new app version will actually will solve the issue for the valves themselves. Although the app will probably be able to open the settings like the web app. Sending temperatures could still be a problem.
I have observed that there is a request fail the first time I have to change the temperature after a long period of standstill (5 hours) on the Aqara thermostat, in the web interface, and then it responds normally.
I recently purchased the Aqara Light Switch H2 EU, and it’s working well with Homey via Matter.
I can use the second button to trigger flows or any automation scenarios. The first button (on top) functions like a standard switch, but it can also be used within Homey to. A led let you know if it’s on or off.
The buttons are labeled 4 and 5, not 1 or 2 ”.
Additionally, the device does not provide any energy consumption data, which is a bit surprising. However, this is not its primary function, so it’s not a major issue.
That said, it’s very handy to have a button that will still work even if your automation platform is down or not running.
I wanted to test the AQARA HUB M3 last week, as this hub can be exposed via MATTER. Here are my thoughts :
I used a Zigbee device (an AQARA Plug H2 EU) and a MATTER Light Switch H2 EU for the test.
1. I added the M3 Hub to Homey Pro using MATTER. The hub was added, but it wasn’t recognized properly.
2. Any device added to the M3—whether Zigbee or MATTER—was exposed to Homey Pro as a MATTER device.
3. The MATTER network became unstable and unreliable.
Could someone please help me make Door and window sensor to show water alarm in Homey. Right now it just show battery alarm.
I could pair Door and window sensor and water leak sensor and motion sensor directly to Homey just fine but sometime some device is not respond because I have around 80 zigbee sensor. I’m trying to balance the zigbee load to M3 hub for faster and reliable zigbee signal.
