Loading issues Homey Homescreen on Samsung Phone

Hi community,

Since 3 weeks my Samsung Galaxy A54 has big difficultie with loading widgets on my Homey homescreen. Especially the community widgets.

Where in the past loading did not take more than 5 seconds, now it can take +30 seconds or it does not load at all. Emptying the cache of the Homey app or restarting my phone isn’t resolving the issue.

  • Does anyone experiencing the same issue?
  • Does anyone have an idea?
  • @Doekse do you know about this issue?

On my wife’s Oppo (also android) I don’t see the same issue. And in the meantime I change my Homey Pro Early 2023 for a Homey Pro 2026 (I didn’t upgrade just because of my described issue). This didn’t solve the issue either.

I’ve seen many other posts about the same issue recently, I also received an issue on one of my own apps from someone who had a similar issue on iOS. It must be related to the mobile app and specific configurations.

I haven’t noticed any issues on my Galaxy S24 FE (I have a Homey Pro 2019)
